The mosque trip to Cambridge Eco Mosque was an enlightening experience
for both the adults and kids, and it was something great for our community.
Last year, as a mosque, we faced the challenge of how to conduct Eid salah (prayer)
while following Covid guidelines. After careful consideration, we decided to hold the prayer outdoors in a nearby park.
On the day of the prayer, we were overwhelmed with the turnout and the positive feedback we received from the community.
We hosted a football tournament for both men and children in the community.
trophies and medals were awarded to the winners, creating a sense of pride and accomplishment among the participants.
This Ramadan, our center hosted a memorable iftar event at Impressions Hall, which sold out completely.
The event was a huge success, with sponsorships from various brands, including Sunah Musk, and raffles held throughout the night.
The main event speaker, Muslim Belal, took to the stage and shared inspiring stories and Nasheeds, captivating the audience.
Currently our center facillitates 300 people which we have issues with across prayers. We have recently purchased the building next door to expand the mosque surpassing our £750,000 goal we aimed to raise this year.
We are in need of donations to pay the £300,000 Qarz-e-Hasna we recieved to purchase the building.
